Many of our students come to us having experienced great suffering and witnessed unthinkable horrors.  Their persistence and smiles remind us that despite troubled pasts, their futures can still be fruitful and bright.  We have collected a few stories from our students that demonstrate the desperate circumstances they endure each day.  The names have been changed to protect the students' identities.
